Product Owner - REMOTE

Community.co is seeking a full-time Product Owner to be the nexus between the Business, Product, User Experience, and Development teams. In this role, you will work closely with teams across the organization and will be responsible for defining and supporting the delivery of key product features.

Who You Are

  • You have a minimum of 3 years as a Product Owner, or Business Analyst supporting the design and delivery of software
  • You are a self-starter with a bias towards action
  • You enjoy collaborating with teams and have experience with Agile methodologies
  • You have experience in facilitating requirements gathering and breaking down complex problems
  • You take a customer-centric approach to delivering value
  • You have experience working in JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and managing requests from the intake process
  • Conducting discovery calls with business teams and stakeholders to further define problems and opportunities
  • Attending Scrum ceremonies; stand-ups, grooming, and planning meetings
  • Partnering with the development team in constructing user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Conducting feature Kickoff meetings, to align teams and prepare for development
  • Participate in testing and coordination of UAT
  • Maintaining alignment of vision and goals across teams
  • Managing the product backlog

Qualifications

  • Certified Scrum Master and/or Product owner
  • Understanding of design thinking principles
