Systems Architect - REMOTE is seeking a full-time Systems Architect to join our fast-paced team. We develop products that help members connect to one another and our partners in meaningful ways, get exposure through publishing and editorial tools, and access exclusive offers. We are a small, remotely distributed team that enjoys solving complex challenges with clean code. Who you are

You are self-motivated, possess technical subject matter expertise and are able to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall design and implementation of short- and long-term goals.
  • Review new and existing system designs, making recommendations for improvements
  • Document current and future proposed architecture
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies.
  • Support and contribute to continuous exploration process as part of the delivery pipeline and Define Enabler Initiatives
  • Support implementation of enablers, working closely with agile teams to achieve successful delivery.
  • Work with Product Owners and Sr developers to decompose Epics, Stories into technical tasks
  • Ensure current and future performance and scalability needs are achievable
  • Collaborate with ProdOps, DevOps, BI and Engineering to establish policies for standardization and further infrastructure development


Required Experience with:

  • JIRA/Agile
  • JavaScript backend development using Node.js.
  • GraphQL with Apollo server and federation.
  • Docker, Kubernetes, and microservice architecture.
  • SQL and NoSQL data structures and schemas.
  • Third-party API integrations.


Additional Experience Preferred:

  • Enterprise platforms and scalable application design.
  • White label and/or multi-tenant system design.
  • Cloud technologies and platforms (GCP).
  • CI/CD DevOps Experience
